elohim – “pigments”

los angeles electro-pop wunderkind elohim has been quick to double down on her successful freshman outing in 2015.  “pigments” follows last fall’s stellar “bridge and the wall” (the two will be paired together on an aa-side 12″ due tomorrow via b3sci records), a polychromatic single-serving steadfastly building towards an effervescent synth figure that finally bubbles over at the song’s halfway-point.  its momentary catharsis feels inherently necessary, providing respite from winter’s monotony.  take a listen to “pigments” below.
